We provide Ecological Landscape Construction (ELC) services for new development installations and existing landscape renovations.  By using resource efficient landscaping practices we can ensure our Clients a sustainable landscape at a reduced cost over the lifetime of the landscape.

Our areas of expertise:

• soil building and organic material recycling  -composting in place and sheet mulching, Mulch-On-Site
• water management  -drip irrigation, water movement and drainage, permeable hardscapes, rainwater catchment, on-site stormwater mitigation
• habitat and biodiversity  -native and Mediterranean gardens, food forests, wildlife corridors
• energy conservation  -pergolas and arbors, wind hedgerows, tree placement for maximum function

Our methods will give you peace of mind that local watersheds and valuable top soils are protected, habitat is sheltered and the soil around your home is not compacted by heavy equipment.  We always utilize reused or recycled materials as a first priority.  Purchasing our products from local nurseries and landscape suppliers helps our local economy while promoting sustainable choices for our local community.

We support manual labor as a recourse to heavy equipment and fuel driven tools whenever feasible to do so.  Carbon dioxide (CO2) reduction is very important in our day-to-day business practices and to OUR global future. 
Landscape Construction Services   $25-$55 per hour for labor only
(limited to the valley regions of northern Butte and southern Tehama counties- we will refer you to a local contractor)
