What is a landcsape design?
A landscape design consists of both a procedure and set of documents to assist you in fully developing your vision and your landscape.
Designs vary greatly from project to project, depending on the site, the level of detail and custom drawings (planting/irrigation plans, construction detail), the size of the property, and the extent of renovation or new installation that you request.

Complete Landscape Design:
A complete landscape design consists of both a procedure and set of documents to assist you in fully developing your vision and your site. A complete design is especially useful for new homes and high-profile areas (such as a large covered patio or steep slope), or major renovations, such as transitioning from a conventional design to a resource efficient landscape. Landscape designs vary greatly from project to project, depending on the site, the level of detail and custom drawings (permeable hardscapes, aquaculture, etc.), the size of the property, and the extent of renovation or new installation that you request. All designs are drawn by hand on conventional vellum design paper. We do not generally use computer software to generate our designs yet all drawings can be made digital for viewing.
Quick Design Sketch:
Sometimes on-the-spot designs and/or sketches are enough for those small yards or simple renovations. This is useful for small projects or for the formation of scale-accurate landscape ideas. This quick design can be especially useful for people interested in doing a majority of the work themselves but only need ideas or schematics for help with implementation. On-the-spot sketches are given to you on paper but can be easily scanned for computer viewing.
